OUR FOUNDER

Miriam’s story begins in her bedroom after navigating leaving her country of birth at only thirteen years of age. Coming from a family of six, struggling as newfound Australians, these life-altering changes drove a fire in Miriam to pursue and achieve greatness to help her family and write her own path.

With a background in Personal Training and Nutrition, working at an all female gym and conducting her own coaching business on the side, Miriam’s passion has always lied with fitness and assisting women to become the best versions of themselves. This resulted in wanting to find activewear that she could feel confident in at any stage of her fitness journey.

After juggling multiple jobs and building Levate from the ground up, it was time to say goodbye to coaching and embark on a full-time career with Levate.

Levate boomed in Miriam’s bedroom, followed by her parent’s garage, but after only two years, it outgrew the space and was pulsing for a new opportunity. Levate HQ was found and alongside only one employee, Miriam set out to scale the business and continue doing what she loves.

Levate has now grown a thriving community of women who look up to the brand as a movement of strength and empowerment. We thank you for your constant support and cannot wait to continue to push the boundaries of activewear and create a space that every woman can belong to.
